This might have a use in PvP.

Ex.

Lets say i'm a N/Mo, all my teammates are dead.I'm surrounded by the other teams Warriors.I use Consume Corpse to escape that circle and res my allies.

Unlikely, but it could happen.

unfortunately, it can't without a great deal of fast casting or luck. it takes 2 seconds to cast, which is simply too long for a quick getaway. i use necrotic traversal for this purpose instead.

This skill has been changed as of PvPx Weekend:

Consume Corpse: Decreased casting time to 1 second; increased Energy gained to 5..20

this skill is amazing!

heals life, energy, and possible freedom from a sticky situation, for 10 energy, and it has no recharge time! :]

The skill is good in a gvg. If you're in a guildhall with a gate just kill one of the npc's on the wall and use cosume corpse you will end up ON the wall and so you can open the gate for your friends and you don't need the thief

It was changed for PvpX weekend so its a "corpse cleanup" skill.

I beleive its refered to as "Corpse Patrol".

Its perks for your reserves are nice also.

Its just the teleport to the corpse thing can get you killed >_>

is this better than awaken the blood i think is wat its called (where u sacrifice hp to get mana) since u dont have to sacrifice, and u get healed and u get about just as much energy

Dude. You did not just tout Consume Corpse as a better energy engine than Offering of Blood.

Well, actually, you did, but man are you wrong.

Offering of Blood supplies substantially more energy per use, can be used much more reliably, and the health sacrifice is not an issue if you use it intelligently.

You don't because its a prophecies only skill.

by the looks of it, this thread was made like 2 months after GW release
